There is so much that is said about what you should do to optimize your business cards that you might fail to learn about something that is arguably even more important: mistakes that you should try your level best to avoid. There are a wide range of mistakes that we have noticed people making when they design business cards that they will then send out for printing, and this mistakes will ruin their cards entirely by sapping them of their overall worth.
Out of all of the egregious errors that people commit while designing Copper Metal Kards, perhaps the worst one is that they often forget to center the information on it. In a perfect world, your business card details should be smack dab in the center of the card itself. You need an equal amount of business card real estate all around the information slot, since this is where people’s eyes are naturally drawn to and it would seem rather awkward if the information is not there waiting for them.
This is not to say that you shouldn’t add any information if it doesn’t fit precisely into the center of your card. All we are trying to tell you is that the bulk of the information should be centered, and the rest can go around it if you still have some things that you need to add. However, if you have extra information that does not fit in the center, there is a chance that it’s not very necessary so you can consider avoiding it so that you can create more of a minimalist kind of design. Try out all option before making any decisions that are final.
