Things to Know About My Hero Academia Class 1-A

My Hero Academia has swiftly become one of the most popular anime series, and with the fourth season currently airing, it’s the ideal moment to revisit the cast. The show has a wide cast of superheroes with varying ideologies, attitudes, and emotions, with many of the best to grace the screen hailing from the legendary Class 1-A. If you’re a die-hard fan of the show, you’ll recognize their names and faces, as well as MHA Merch and possibly some amusing tidbits about them.

Every character has a meaningful name.

Almost every character in My Hero Academia has a significant name, typically based on Japanese wordplay due to series creator Kohei Horikoshi. If you are a fan of this series, you can get stuff from MHA Merch. Tenya Iida’s name, for example, is derived from the term “date,” which is derived from the Buddhist figure Skanda’s name and characterizes someone quick on their feet, as Iida is. Bakugo’s name gets derived from “Baku,” which means “bomb” or “explosion,” and “g,” which can mean “strong” or “power,” all of which are fair descriptions of his personality and quirk.

Hair & Scars of Eijiro Kirishima

If you think Eijiro Kirishima’s stylish spiky red hair by his quirk, look at his history. Kirishima had mostly typical black hair with no spikes before enrolling at U.A. When he gets granted the opportunity to join the famed hero academy, he livens things up a little, deriving his current haircut from his fiery attitude. Kirishima’s scar above his right eye occurred by his misfortune: he was fatigued and wiped his eye only for his Hardening Quirk to manifest for the first time and slash his flesh.

Izuku Midoriya’s Nickname Has Many Levels

Bakugo started calling Midoriya “Deku” during his childhood, and the epithet gradually became the preferred moniker for his Quirk-free classmate. In the anime’s English dub, “Deku” is a Japanese term for a puppet, and it’s used as slang to describe someone worthless. It’s an abbreviation of the phrase “Defenseless Izuku,” and both seem as terrible.

Katsuki Bakugou Enjoys Mountain Climbing

Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku’s childhood bully and, more recently, his adversary, is easily one of Class 1-A’s powerful students. It isn’t solely due to his fantastic Quirk Explosion. Katsuki is bright, has excellent battle instincts, and has toned his body in addition to his Quirk training. Mountain climbing is a lesser-known hobby of Katsuki’s, which is probably appropriate. Mountain climbing is not only physically challenging, but it also fuels Katsuki’s will to succeed.
